Meeting of the regional project MOVE-ComCashew with the Consultative International Cashew Council (CICC)

A delegation from the Regional Market-driven Value Chains for Employment and Growth Project in the ECOWAS Region (MOVE-ComCashew) was received by the Consultative International Cashew Council (CICC) on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the CICC office in Plateau. The delegation was composed of the GIZ/MOVE Program Director, Ms. Rita Weidinger, Ms. Mary Adzanyo, Deputy Program Manager, Mr. Mohamed Salifou, Regional Production Advisor, Ms. Nunana Addo, Regional Policy Advisor and Ms. Raissa Diomande, Private Sector Development Advisor. This meeting gave the opportunity for the sharing of experiences on the implementation of the respective activities within the two institutions, and also to review the collaboration underway and for the years to come. MOVE-ComCashew took the opportunity to congratulate the Consultative International Cashew Council (CICC)for all the work done to promote the cashew sector in several African countries, including Côte d'Ivoire.

The meeting ended on positive notes with a mutual agreement of the two institutions to strengthen their collaboration.
